About the artist

Landscape oil painter

 

Sam brings his passion for nature and wild landscapes to his painting. Growing up in Canada, he took early inspiration from the Group of Seven and Tom Thomson, who captured the raw beauty of Canadian landscapes and urban artist Ross Robert Shaw. As a keen hiker, he paints landscapes dear to him, from the rugged Cornish coast to the Scottish Highlands and the Patagonian wilderness.
