My current focus is on textile art pieces using a variety of fabric types, upcycled materials and found objects. Although not formerly trained I have been sewing all my life, with quilting being an important part of my work. In recent years I have taken on a number of commissions for vicars' stoles, and found working with silk & to a client's design an interesting challenge. I currently use a lot of batiks, silks & hand dyed fabrics in my work, and the modern focus on r
e-using and recycling interests me. I have recently been incorporating the aluminium from used coffee capsules in my work.
