About the artist

Charcoal artist

 

Figurative artist Kelly Harwood explores her passion for expressive artworks using charcoal, and inks.

Her bold drawings celebrate the vibrancy of her subject and depict the rapid movement of the natural world. 

​

She plays with line and tonal variations to achieve an image that endeavours to portray the constant changing of light on a moving subject. Following art school and a design degree, Kelly spent many years as a graphic designer and mural painter but now works from her art studio in Sevenoaks.
