About the artist
Printmaker and watercolour artist
I am an artist living in Oxted. Over the years I have studied at a number of art schools concentrating mainly on life drawing and painting, moving on to printmaking. This is a medium which helps me to be more experimental since there is always an element of surprise in the end result. I have developed a particular fondness for using relief printing in wood and intaglio printing with collagraph. I am inspired by the natural world and the human figure. I used exhibit annually with a society in London, but it has since dissolved, so it is a good opportunity for me to participate in Art in June.
