Watercolours, drawings       

 

Having always felt drawn to art and the countryside, I accepted the opportunity to work from Chart Farm with alacrity. The subjects I choose are according to the season - from the local countryside and also what is available from my garden. Even in winter, seedheads, pieces of bark, and feathers can be a source of inspiration. I work in good quality watercolours and pencil. For me, watercolour is the most appropriate medium when working in a botanical style.
